In the sessions developed in the classroom context, students were challenged to explore concepts within the thematic native forest, with a strong connection to the local reality. With the operation of a multimedia animation, it was possible to explore some aspects of native species of flora, including yew. At the end of the session it was distributed to each of the students, a Pedagogical Exploration Script in order to allow consolidate and deepen some of the concepts discussed.
This was an initiative developed within the project LIFE TAXUS, which is co-funded by the LIFE + Programme of the European Commission and the VALORMED and has the support of ICNF - Nature Conservation Institute and Forestry.
